1-    Religions studies department:

The department aims to:

-         Preparing the studies and scientific researches that deals with the studying of civil social various prevail with leniency.

-         Care of authoring books about the role of religion in the human speeches toward people through its understanding and represent the religion law through its various field.

-         Observe the studies which authorized about religions.

-         Focus on the civilized religion discussion.

-         Investigation religion spirit between people.

-         Studying religions through the modern methods of human science.

-         Held the seminars and conferences depending on an annual plan which specified from the consult committee of the department.

The department consist of many research units: (creed and Islamic thought, Islamic and civilization, Islam and contemporary).

Also the department issued quarterly journal called "Religion studies" and many books that deals with religions.
