Studying international law thought and its reflections on the law system in Iraq and Arab countries.

The department is interesting of the academic researches which treating important subjects concern with Iraqi people that preparing by the professors and judges discussed by held holding seminars and conferences.

The department issued, yearly, many conferences and seminars in different fields. Also issued quarterly journal called "Law studies" and many books that deals with law authorized by Iraqi, Arabic and foreign writhers. The department publishes too the distinct Phd and Master thesis to enrich the Iraqi and foreign libraries to serves researchers, students and others.
