  The Department of Historical Studies, Bayt Al-Hikma, held a memorial service for the late Dr. Osama Abdel-Rahman Al-Douri / member of the department's advisory team, on Monday 23/11/2020.
The memorial service included mourning words for the attendees, who are:

- Word of the Department of History / College of Education / Al-Mustansiriya University / Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hashem Khwaiter
- A word from the family of the late Osama Al-Douri given by Dr. Shaker Mahmoud
- The last student of the deceased, doctoral student Ammar Rashid
The ceremony was attended by a large audience of students and from both fields and a group of his relatives who gave words of thanks and praise to the House of Wisdom Foundation for establishing this memorial council and recalling the late Dr. Osama Al Douri
