Under the supervision of the President of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, Assistant Professor Dr. Qahtan Neama Hassan Al-Khafaji, the Human Rights Division at Bayt Al-Hikma, in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Center, organized a blood donation campaign for employees working in its scientific departments and administrative divisions on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Al-Khwarizmi Hall.
The campaign aimed to support the National Blood Transfusion Center and provide blood and its derivatives for patients hospitalized in Iraqi hospitals, especially those suffering from critical medical conditions that require urgent blood supply. These include cases of severe bleeding of various causes, major surgical operations, childbirth cases, as well as patients with chronic anemia, particularly those suffering from thalassemia, blood cancer (leukemia), and hemolytic diseases in newborn children.
