Baytul-Hikma and Ministry of Culture Discuss New Avenues for Cultural Cooperation 2025-07-21
In a step aimed at strengthening cultural collaboration, Dr. Qahtan Neama Al-Khafaji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Baytul-Hikma, met with Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Dr.
Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Ministry's headquarters.
The meeting focused on enhancing joint cultural initiatives that address pressing societal issues and
aim to elevate public awareness. Discussions also covered opportunities for cooperation in areas of
shared interest between the two institutions.
Minister Al-Badrani welcomed the delegation and expressed his full support for Baytul-Hikma's
activities, particularly those contributing to cultural development and national identity. He
emphasized the importance of preparing research and studies that support these efforts.
Dr. Al-Khafaji, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and the Minister's
commitment to fostering cultural partnerships. He reaffirmed Baytul-Hikma's dedication to expanding
scientific and cultural relations with state institutions, with the goal of promoting research that
benefits society and enriches Iraq's intellectual landscape.
