Bayt Al-Hikma (House of Wisdom )Participates in the Commemorative Symposium for  Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli (May God Have Mercy on Him)
On Thursday, August 21, 2025, Dr. Qahtan Ni'ma Hassan Al-Khafaji, the Head of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma answered  an invitation from the Head of the Iraqi Scientific Academy, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al Yassin, to attend the commemorative symposium for  scholar Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli (May God have mercy on him). The symposium was held in the Grand Conference Hall of the Academy.
The symposium reviewed Sheikh Al-Waeli’s academic, cultural, and literary biography, as well as his method of presenting various Islamic ideas and opinions from the Husseini pulpit.SheikhAl-Waeli was distinguished in the art of oratory , which placed him at the forefront of preachers and religious and intellectual figures who had a great influence on the hearts of Muslim communities of all sects.
The symposium included a collection of research papers and celebratory speeches on the personality of  Al-Waeli. and his unique achievements on the religious and literary levels. Dr. Qahtan Ni'ma Hassan Al-Khafaji, the Head of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma , delivered a speech in which he expressed our  need the moderate and balanced thought that Sheikh Al-Waeli carried, and his unique oratory school that he established and made a unique approach for preachers and religious figures to follow after him.
The symposium was attended by a large crowd of government officials, university professors, religious figures, intellectuals, writers, and media professionals.
