*Bayt Al-Hikma ( House of Wisdom ) Signs Scientific and Research Cooperation Agreement with the American University in Iraq*
As part of Bayt Al-Hikma's endeavor to enhance academic partnerships and exchange scientific expertise, a scientific and research cooperation agreement was signed today, Sunday, November 9, 2025, in the presence of high-level official attendance, between the Bayt Al-Hikma Foundation, represented by the Head of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Qahtan Ni'ma Hassan Al-Khafaji, and the American University in Iraq, headed by Prof. Dr. Bradley Cook.
The signing ceremony took place at Bayt Al-Hikma Institution, with the participation of an elite group of heads of departments and members of the board of trustees from both parties. This agreement is considered a significant step that falls within a joint orientation to enhance scientific research, consolidate academic cooperation, and support scientific innovations, in line with Bayt Al-Hikma's goals of building effective and sustainable partnerships with distinguished academic institutions.
The agreement aims to benefit from manuscripts, archives, and historical documents , consulting experts and consultants, exchanging scientific expertise between the two parties , preparing joint specialized research and studies , 0rganizing scientific and cultural activities, such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and scientific sessions , exchanging administrative expertise and providing opportunities for training and developing of functional staff in both institutions, with the aim of raising the level of scientific and research performance, exchange resources, books, and scientific journals within common specializations and , Joint cooperation in the use of halls and libraries.
It is noteworthy that Bayt Al-Hikma is keen on the necessity of greater openness with universities and centers for studies and research and consolidating relations. These memoranda are concluded in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations in force to define the framework of cooperation and outline the methodology of joint work.
