Professional trainer techniques... to support energy and environmental sustainability

Professional Trainer Techniques to Support Energy and Environmental Sustainability
As part of its support for the National Initiative for Energy Support and Emissions Reduction, and within its ongoing efforts to advance energy and environmental sustainability since the initiative’s launch in 2021,  Bayt Al-Hikma, represented by its Department of Quality Management and Institutional Development, hosted a workshop entitled “Professional Trainer Techniques: From Knowledge Transfer to Impact Creation” on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Al-Khwarizmi Hall.
The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Environment of Iraq – Committee of the National Initiative for Energy Support and Emissions Reduction, with the objective of training the initiative’s instructors from various state institutions and government departments.
In his opening address,  Dr. Qahtan Neama Hassan Al-Khafaji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, affirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting activities and initiatives that serve society and humanity, particularly environmental initiatives, given their fundamental role in shaping human development and their vital impact on health, psychological, and social stability. He also highlighted the institution’s historic role as an active platform supporting diverse fields of thought and fostering dialogue that contributes to achieving social, economic, and environmental justice.
The workshop featured a visual presentation delivered by Ms. Dilovan Kamal from the Ministry of Electricity of Iraq, representing the initiative’s secretariat. The presentation provided a detailed overview of the initiative’s launch in 2021, the participating entities, and the solidarity of ministries, authorities, and governorates, forming a broad national mobilization aimed at supporting energy and environmental sustainability and addressing climate change through its nine objectives.
Certified trainer Mr. Ali Al-Madhoosh also delivered a lecture titled “Professional Trainer Techniques: From Knowledge Transfer to Impact Creation.” The lecture addressed the concepts and elements of effective delivery and public speaking, outlining the necessary procedures for speakers and the cognitive and emotional functions of human communication. He also discussed the challenges faced by speakers and ways to overcome them by adhering to professional guidelines and using carefully prepared language suited to the audience’s cultural level
