Bayt Al-Hikma Participates in the Graduation Projects Exhibition of the Engineering Technical College at Imam Ja'far Al-Sadiq University (Peace Be Upon Him)
In response to the gracious official invitation extended by the Presidency of Imam Ja'far Al-Sadiq University (Peace Be Upon Him), Professor Dr. Haider Qasim Matar Al-Tamimi, Secretary-General of Bayt Al-Hikma, attended the activities of the Graduation Projects Exhibition of the Engineering Technical College for the academic year (2025–2026), representing the institution under the direction and official assignment of the President of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma. The exhibition was held under the slogan: "A Leading Technical Generation Shaping the Future", alongside the closing ceremony dedicated to selecting the top three winning projects in this distinguished competition.
The visit included a series of in-depth bilateral academic and consultative meetings with the university presidency and the deans of engineering colleges at Al-Nahrain University and the Iraqi University. During these meetings, participants emphasized the strength of the shared scientific ties and explored avenues for enhancing intellectual and academic cooperation between Bayt Al-Hikma—renowned as a distinguished intellectual and advisory institution within the Iraqi state—and leading academic institutions. Such cooperation aims to support talented young innovators and direct their scientific achievements toward serving society.
During the event, the Secretary-General conducted an extensive tour of the exhibition halls, where he reviewed a number of outstanding innovative projects presented by graduating students. This year's projects were particularly distinguished by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart systems, and digital simulation technologies to address real-world, medical, and developmental challenges.
Among the most notable projects that received praise for their scientific excellence were: "The Design and Simulation of a Medical Defensive Nanorobot (MDNR) for Cancer Cell Treatment Using MATLAB Software", and "A Smart Wheelchair Based on Voice Commands and Ultrasonic Sensors to Assist Individuals with Physical Disabilities."
At the conclusion of the festival, Bayt Al-Hikma congratulated the university presidency and the Deanery of the Engineering Technical College on the successful organization and remarkable achievements of the event. The institution reaffirmed its belief that these talented young engineering students represent the true foundation for building a promising technological future that advances sustainable development and scientific innovation in our beloved homeland
