Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC)
In the shade of the rapid variants events in Iraq and the region, the need to (IDSC) has emerged to proceed development standings and to provide the decision maker with effective proposals which can give a fast response to those variant events; in such a manner that make the center a focus of thought analyzing the local and international information, knowledge experiences. Providing the indices and demonstrations that help the decision maker to formula polices and strategies that get along with the statue of the society and development steps adopted to enhance the economic performance and people's living standards.
 Domains of the center's work
-    Studying discussed Development issues (chronicle, urgent, strategic) for promoting the Iraqi economy and society.
-    Putting forward speculations and visions of the public polices and reform strategies in the economic and social fields.
-    Proceeding developmental performance of the government and it's different institutions.
-    Assessing the outcome of the different programs and polices upon the Iraqi citizen.
Role of the center
The center support governmental decisions throughout an integrated system of decision support based on true evidence; using statistics, information, knowledge and experiences to do the following:
-    Studying the chronicle, urgent, strategic issues.
-    Giving hand in designing and choosing polices.
-    Proceeding the implementation of the polices.
-    Assessing the polices impact upon the family and the citizen.
-    Introducing proposals of the new developmental initiatives.
-    Making information available to all categories of the society.
-    Studying future.

-    Observing and analyzing the economic, social and political influencing the developmental performance.
-    Studying and analyzing the intellectual vision.
-    Developing the indices of the observatories.
-    Measuring the community opinion.

Vision and mission :
(IDSC) is neutral with a national reference. It works according to scientific basis and participate in formulating and making decisions. It also proceed and assess the impact of government policies, building and publishing the informational content that concerns all the agent sectors such as: NGOs, business an R&D. the center adopts new initiatives that reinforce society development, and deals openly with the all national trends and international organization.

Objective of the center
-    Enriching the issues raised by the government institution with opinion based on facts and real information.
-    Observing and analyzing the topics that relates to people's life in all sectors.
-    Studying the influential developmental issues in the light of decision makers' priorities – proceeding governmentally adopted policies and programs and assessing their impact on the rates of socio- economic performance improvements.
