*Bayt Al-Hikma Hosted The Palestinian Ambassador*
His Excellency, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, Mr. Ahmed Al-Rweidi, was hosted by the Head of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma (House of Wisdom), Dr. Qahtan Ni'ma Hassan Al-Khafaji. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the conference "Iraq: The State and Society Over a Century," which was organized by the Department of Historical Studies at Bayt Al-Hikma in collaboration with the French Institute for the Near East (IFPO), on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The Ambassador attended the conference's activities in response to an invitation extended to His Excellency by Bayt Al-Hikma.
The Head of the Board of Trustees welcomed the guest , expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Ambassador for his commitment to attend the conference. He affirmed Iraq's unwavering support, both government and people, for the just Palestinian cause, condemned the Zionist occupation and its horrific crimes against the Palestinian people, and backed all governmental efforts seeking to provide assistance to the oppressed people.
For his part, His Excellency, Mr. Al-Rweidi, expressed his gratitude and thanks for the kind invitation from Bayt Al-Hikma, and for the keenness of its senior management to have him participates in the conference of the Department of Historical Studies, given the high symbolic value the State of Palestine in the minds of Iraqi people
