 Emotional Intelligence and Its Role in Managing Work Stress
 Today ,  Tuesday, October 28, 2025 , an  awareness lecture organized by  the Quality Management and Institutional Development Department at Bait Al-Hikma (House of Wisdom), titled "Emotional Intelligence and Its Role in Managing Work Stress,"  was concluded . A group of employees from various divisions, administrative, and scientific departments of Bayt Al-Hikma institution participated in the event.
The lecture was presented by the Head of the Quality Management and Institutional Development Department, Mrs. Sumaya Ma'an, and delivered by the International Human Development Trainer, Dr. Ziyad Saleem Al-Hasani, Head of the Arab Center for Creativity and Development.
The lecturer discussed mechanisms for stress management and interacting with urgent and critical situations, using the mechanism of managing work stress as a model. This mechanism involves handling work situations using mental skills while maintaining productive capacity at the personal, social, and professional levels.
The lecture aims to increase self-awareness in mental and social skills, which in turn reflected  on the individuals' job performance, making them more capable of understanding others and dealing with problems and situations encountered at work, with a focus on positive self-interaction and positive interaction with others.
For his part, the Head  of the Board of Trustees of Bayt  Al-Hikma, Dr. Qahtan Ni'ma Hassan Al-Khafaji, expressed in his intervention the importance of the language of understanding in the work environment and its effect on individual productivity. He stressed the necessity of focusing on lectures that aim to raise the cultural and intellectual awareness of employees, which Bayt  Al-Hikma institution is keen to implement through its scientific programs.
